The missionnary’s partners

There is a lot to be clarified when we talk about partnership, but here are three important points.

The first is that partnership is not about begging for money, it’s an investment in our Father’s Kingdom and it’s about teamwork where we keep our partners informed of what’s going on in the mission’s field, about what we are living and the progresses. We can also be partners in prayer and in given time to further the work, but we can not hide behind these virtues to avoid giving financially because without investing financially there is no mission, no prayer, no time to give, no partnership.

Secondly, it is not a fundraiser because Peter and I, as a missionary, we want to have a relationship with those who invest in the work with heart otherwise it is cold and without vision, and people feel less concerned, and the body of Christ does not work together, which is for us most important.

Third, people think they must give big amounts, it is certain that it helps to have large amounts and that the Lord calls some people well off to do so but those who have less money and the Lord touch their hearts for More for Haiti can invest 10$ a month and this is very much appreciated.

I have a very nice story to tell you about this. We contacted a church for a presentation, the pastor wanted to receive us to hear about our ministry but told us that the church could not support us because of the finances and the small number of members. We understood this, and we went did our presentation at this church. Since then, this church started supporting us with 10$ a month, maybe it’s the pastor, whoever, I see a touch of the Lord and everything that comes from the Lord is multiplied spiritually, it makes my heart joyful to live this kind of generosity.

Now here is how we see our relationship with our partners:

The mission is to deliver young souls, to make disciples, leaders and thus increase the Kingdom of God with all the Christian organizations in place, with people from Canada who can bring their professional experience, to build a new flourishing Haiti by training young people in professions they will practice in their country and thus grow the economy of their country with the vision of the Lord.

The MORE FOR HAITI partnership is based on 1 Samuel 30:24. There are those on the ground and those who stay at the camp. They are all important in the part God has for them. The story mentions that they have won, and all share the wealth as well. In the same way our partners pray, support, inform themselves and without them, we are aware that we are not at our best because the team forms the body with us and that is how God works.

To you dear friends a call is made. It is a spiritual adventure where you will be included to be an integral part in a real way. I believe that if we invest in an impoverished country, we will taste the fruits for our country. I first invite you to gather and pray about this by asking Him to speak to your hearts about this work which is His and not ours. Before the Lord, my part is to trust Him, to obey and to go where He is asking me, and it is your part and privilege to seek after Him if He wants you to be a partner of the mission MORE FOR HAITI.

If by going, we give our lives and give up our comfort because of his love for us and for all men, for the same reason we encourage you to give your time in prayer and invest according to your means so that His name is glorified. It is not in vain that we go, that we work, and it is not in vain that you pray and invest with us in the Kingdom of our Lord. He is coming soon to give his reward to those who seek his Kingdom first, and this He will do everywhere in the world where his children are.
Partnership requires prayer, time, and financial investment (PTI). By becoming a partner, you are part of our call, and I will undertake to give you news of what will happen in Haiti and build together a beautiful missionary relationship. It is important to keep close and not distant with those who will be our partners because they will be with us in spirit, in prayer with the heart of the Father and the body of the Son to Save and that by many ways.

The Church is not the story of a city, province, country, we can not be closed in on ourselves, the Church is international, and the Lord relocates his children around the world, some leave, others come, others remain according to what He desires, and this concerns us all because the History of this world, is about us with Him.

That’s it for partnership.
